« own words / paraphrased takeaways...
Peer Connections | Opportunity to connect with others in the TR space/who face similar challenges has been incredibly helpful
Targeted Topics | Appreciate how it's not just a networking opportunity but a space where we can focus on and gain insights into specific areas; it's a tremendous way to help organize our thought process
Rodney Smoczyk | Global Director, HR Operations & Talent Acquisition @ Rinchem Company
Expert Insights | Soaking up the knowledge of other (highly) experienced HR leaders has been extremely valuable
No Sales Pitch | To my surprise, not once have I ever felt someone was trying to sell me something - it's truly a conversation amongst peers.

Would you recommend the Total Rewards Roundtable to your peers?
*Absolutely. Great use of time to meet/network with other HR professionals and hear what they are doing in a smaller group setting. It was also great to get feedback on some of the things we’re doing. Sometimes, it’s hard to meet people & have meaningful conversations at larger events. Thought the group size was spot on.
*Hell to the yeah! When we get together again I can better explain, but at the core - I want to be the best I can, and connecting with true peers helps immensely.
*Yes – very good brainstorming. We experience the same challenges (regardless of industry), and talking with other HR leaders is invaluable, especially in our changing world where things move so fast.
*Yes – it’s very helpful to hear how other HR executives across industries execute HR disciplines. There is real value in this forum. It opens communication doors for HR leaders.
*Yes! Great connecting with like-minded professionals, networking, and problem-solving together.
*Yes – I enjoy having a community of peers to learn from and with. If this was more of an ongoing group meeting, it could have an even greater impact. Thanks for providing this space.
*Yes! Nothing beats HR talking to HR, especially for subjects that are just developing.
*YES - great for networking, great space to workshop concerns and ideas. I always learn at least one great thing from someone else in the group every time we meet.
*Yes, it is always helpful to hear other ways of thinking, navigating, & communicating. We alone cannot be a single source of truth.
*Yes, HR can be a closed-off space with responsibilities and a spotlight that differs from that of the rest of the organization. It's important for HR leaders to establish outlets & resources that understand this and become true resources for aiding when needed. This is a good platform for it.
